Life is a weird thing, we have few relationships that are important to us and we fail to maintain them the way we would like - without PAIN, without TEARS, without DISAPPOINTMENTS... Relationships or Friendship is all about hurting, being hurt, forgiving, forgetting, being hurt again, As humans we have an infinite capacity to hurt one another — sometimes intentionally, but sometimes accidentally, through carelessness or circumstance There are number of instances in life when people hurt us, either with their actions or with their words.
What would you do if you feel cheated, ignored or neglected by your partner in any relationship whether it be romance, friendship or marriage life? You Feel betrayed, angry, hurt, and frustrated, along with a myriad of other feelings. We’ve all got painful memories and emotions tucked away deep inside. When I was young, Our own relatives betrayed my family. I was very emotionally hurt And often I found it hard to forgive I had intense anger in myheart for someone who hurt me recently or long ago.
I have hoping that people I love and care about really do feel they are important. Because if I fail I might lose them once and forever. And that is something I would never be able to bear because these people are my strength and my life. So, I hold every person close to my heart. Sometimes I get emotional, Sometimes things happen that we would prefer to avoid.
I have been hurt by someone very close to me. The words can not explain what I feel .But I am broken inside. I knew something would go wrong... Not waiting to be hurt again I hurt myself in the most unjust way. Not wanting to be hurt again I direct the pain. To strike me in the most painful way. and I know that I need to forgive that person, but it is easier said than done.
Keeping in mind what my parents always said. It is about 'Forgive and Forget' Which I practice very perfect... I never keep hatred in my chest, because it will cause me a burden of stress. It is like an acid which is strong and erosive, It will turn my mind violent and aggressive. When I forget, I forget it totally complete, Like clicking the mouse on the button 'DELETE'

I encourage you to read Tyler's thoughts here:
When you haven't forgiven those who've hurt you, you turn your back against your future. When you do forgive, you start walking forward.
Is it possible to truly forgive all transgressions?
How do you forgive someone who physically abused you when you were a child?
How do you forgive someone who raped you or a family member?
How do you forgive someone who spread vicious and humiliating lies about you?
How do you forgive parents who put their own needs and egos way ahead of your basic emotional needs as a child?
How do you forgive a parent who left you when you were young?
How do you forgive someone who has sucked the joy out of your life through his or her negative, hypocritical, phony, lazy, selfish, and ill-tempered behavior over 30 years of marriage?
I really don't have a clue how you can truly forgive others for any of the above. Maybe complete forgiveness is impossible in some cases. You don't have to make it known to the people who hurt you that you have forgiven them. Refusing to forgive and forget and seeking vengeance makes you look petty and small.
"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." -Mahatma Ghandi - Simply stated, the ability to forgive is a sign of strength.
Unless we learn how to forget past sins, we will always live in that past. Bitterness or guilt will continue to eat away at us like a cancer. Forgive and be forgiven. And then forget it. This is the secret of spiritual health. Keep short accounts with God and men.'Forgive and Forget' is an easy task, I don't need anybody to ask. For....giving, I give love, sympathy and understanding. For....getting, I get peace of mind as a God's blessing. Not only peace but also pleasure in my mind..

what a wonderful, thoughtful post! I loved every bit og it and you know the questions you bring on are really not that simple.. Forgiving and forgetting is a necessity for the peace of our own soul but then some things are tough to forget and impossible to forgive and you have no choice but to live with it and struggle to keep your emotional condition in a normal state.
