Where you have enough peace to discover your place
in the overall plan of Mother Nature. The Nature Village offers an ideal
retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. And that’s my small beautiful village is SUNDARAPANDIPURAM. My village (Already I written about my village in 2007).Sundarapandiapuram is a
panchayat town in Tenkasi district! Visiting a village after a decade can be a
nostalgic and emotional experience. I visited for a
kumbabishekam (consecration) ceremony was held at the Sri RajaGopala Swamy temple
in Sundarapandiapuram. This is my Street where I grow with cherished Memories.
I found
heartwarming to reconnect with my roots, to see familiar faces, and revisit
places that hold childhood memories. I realized the village has changed over
the past ten years. But I enjoyed Meeting my childhood friends, neighbours, and
family members. It is a joyful
experience, strengthening bonds and creating new memories. I found that the
sense of community is still strong, with people readily offering help and
support. People in my village live in unity, supporting each other and enjoying
a calm environment. I realized that the
beauty of my village was not just in its scenic views but also in its
simplicity. My ‘Village scenic beauty’.will give you a fresh vibe and you’ll
get closer to the nature beauty.
Village life often has a slower pace and a closer
connection to nature than city life. You might appreciate the fresh air, the
green fields, the starry nights, and the slower pace of life. It is home to
lush paddy fields, coconut palms and orchards of other tropical fruits.
It is
here that the mountain top and the clouds merge into one. It receives both the
monsoons of India. It is one of Tamil Nadu’s prettiest village. lush green or
golden paddy fields swaying in the winds that are blowing from the west, a
consistent drizzle in the air, and dark monsoon clouds kissing the mountain
top. This is the view that nature presents.
On the way to my village. {Anniyan Parai} Its old name was ‘Puliyur Para’.
is a scenic location known
for its breathtaking views and serene atmosphere. Nestled in the foothills of
the Western Ghats, this viewpoint offers visitors a chance to experience
nature’s beauty in its purest form. The area is surrounded by lush greenery,
rolling hills, and picturesque landscapes, making it a popular spot for
tourists and nature enthusiasts.

We
could see a shadow of the tree on the shore of the over flowing Puliyoorkulam
(pond). My village sceneries will be a
treat for photography lovers. Of course, These are a very few sceneries of my native. Once you visit my
village, You will become a close friend of nature. On the way SunFlower field is there and it brings tourist attraction.
In the Sundarapandiapuram we can see a continuous
row of double storied houses with their roof resting on ancient stone pillars
with paintings and flower faces. On the stone floors there are colorful
designs.
One is North street and the other is Sannathi street. In these two two
streets lead to two corners of Periyakulam (pond).
In one corner there is
Thoppakulam (Pond for bathing) with a stone pavilion in the middle. You can see
the myriads of wind mills in the background along with the mountains in the
backdrop and farms in the foreground that grow corn, chillies, vegetables and
more.

Overall, it is a lush scene. Add to it, the cool breeze blowing in from
the west. So, it enjoys a pleasant weather condition and breathtaking scenic
beauty. In June or July, you will enjoy the
earthy smell of fresh rain, the floral aromas, and the lush greenery around.
The trees looks swaying their heads in the wind. Also, as you feel amidst tranquillity,
the sound of the rustling leaves and the chirpings of the birds fill your ears.
During Monsoon a consistent drizzle in the air, and
dark monsoon clouds kissing the mountain top. towards the mountain side are
mountain streams, Coutrallam waterfalls and umpteen scenic locations and that
commands stunning views of the surrounding Western Ghat mountains.
Courtallam
Falls, each waterfall seems to sing a different tune of nature. The onset of
Southwest Monsoon, and one can experience the periodic drizzle, cool breeze,
waterfalls in full throttle and views of beautiful mountains in the backdrop
making these places a wonderland. The feel of taking bath in a natural
waterfall is rejuvenating. The gushing water descends from several feet above
breaks at several rocks and then separates into different streams reducing the
flow and comes crashing down on us, it is definitely once in a lifetime
experience. The joy of feeling the water droplets caressing your skin is an
experience that words can hardly capture.
In Courtallam, during the monsoon season, you can find a
variety of seasonal fruits including Rambutan, Mangosteen, Mulberry, and star
fruit, which are locally grown. Additionally, durian is available. Other
monsoon fruits like jamun and guava are also popular .

The Tenkasi Gopuram
refers to the towering temple gateway of the Kasi Viswanathar Temple in
Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu. It is a seven-tiered structure, standing at nearly 180
feet tall, and is renowned for its intricate sculptures and Dravidian
architectural style. The temple itself is dedicated to Lord
Shiva and is also known as "Dakshina Kasi" or the "Kasi of the
South". Unique Featuresof this temple is known for
its musical pillars, which produce distinct notes when struck. It also boasts a
unique wind pattern that seems to push visitors towards the temple entrance and
then push them forward once inside.
After three days visit I even realize that I
am missing the sound of my village. I will get used with the noise of the city
and keep moving. And here, I was not only reminiscing about my childhood
memories, but walking with my family and creating memories too. It’s
a reminder that life’s beauty lies in simplicity, and that human connection is
the greatest treasure of all
.
