Margazhi Masam ..Some Thoughts..

மாறிய மார்கழி மாதம்! சில நினைவுகள்...

Today I visited Perumal kovil with my children and was lost in memories of my childhood;  felt bad that my children are missing many things.. About Margazhi Masam …What wonderful memories these are bringing back for me. The month of Margazhi is unique. The atmosphere is suffused with religious fervor and sanctity that draws people from different sections of the community. `Among the months, I am Margazhi,' said Lord Krishna in the Gita. In our village, almost everyone will wake up by 4am and take  bath in cold water. A small lamp is kept near the door step.   Maids would splash the cow dung mixed with water and we girls would put the dots and draw the kolam painstakingly. Mine used to be one of the biggest kolam in our neighbourhood.

 Day dawns with the Margazhi Thingal song and Kausalya Subraja in Perumal kovil;  have a clear mind to wake up  gods. . People singing Bhajans and enchanting the Godness early in the morning i.e. 5 am and go round the streets Wrapped in shawls or bare bodied, unmindful of the cold and nipping air!. This is a tradition.  It’s our culture. There is nothing equivalent to it elsewhere in the world. Devotees rush to the discourses on bhajans. We girls use to visit Perumal kovil to recite bhajans, Thiruppavai , Thirvambhavai, ,  during the early hours of a day in this month . Precisely an abishegam is performed to the deity  in sanctum sanctorum, followed by alankaram and a prasadam distributed after a mangala aarti. 

Going to the nearby temples, one after another collecting prasadams especially pongal spiced with ginger and pepper satisfies our palate. Misty weather, dense darkness, colorful kolams, bright deepams, aroma of ghee from the Pongal being cooked. This Kovil prasadam, half saree, temple visits... believe me you cannot get this anywhere else in the world.  Also the amount of peace you get going to a Shiva temple for margazhi thirupakshi are the pleasant memories I carry in my heart. Now I realize What makes me feel so proud is our culture, spirituality was induced through various means of art, yummy prasadams right from the childhood and playfully got good habits in right age of our childhood! It’s indeed very sad that nowadays very few parents know these traditions. Over the years, this tradition has definitely seen a setback.

சாணி மேல் பூசணிப்பூ ..

அலையா மனதொடு  இசையால்

கண்ணனைப் பாடும்

கவிதையாய் திருப்பாவை..

நினைவுகளின் நனையும்

மார்கழி பனியாய் நான்.....

கலைந்தது கனவு!

கால மாற்றத்தால்  

மாறிய மார்கழி மாதம்!

இன்று

அதிகாலை பனியில்...

குனிந்து பெருக்கி கோலமிட தாவணிகள் இல்லை.

கோலம் போடுவதற்கு வாசல்கள் இல்லை,

தெருக்கள்காணாமல் கான்க்ரீட்காடுகள் ஆனதால்;

கோலத்தின் இடையில் நாட்டியமிட்டு செல்லும் மனிதர்கள் இல்லை,

நல்ல எண்ணங்கள் யார் மனதிலும் இல்லை,

ஈரம் சொட்டும் கூந்தலுடன் கோவிலுக்கு செல்ல;

பெண்களுக்கு நேரம் இன்று இல்லை,

திருப்பாவை படிக்க தீந்தமிழ் இல்லை;.

பஜனை பாட பக்தியும் இல்லை.

பஜனைக்குப் பின் கிடைக்கும் பொங்கலும் சுண்டலும் இல்லவே இல்லை;

இனிவரும் காலத்தில்இதற்கெல்லாம் கவலைப்படுவதற்கும் ஆட்களும் இல்லை!

A new dawn!

It is like a new beginning of thoughts

It is like a new day of energy

It is like a new bloom spread Fragrance& freshness around

It is like a bunch of whole new things..

நான் அறிந்தது!

நான்கடந்துவந்தபாதைகற்களும்முற்களும்நிறைந்தது.நடந்துவந்த வாழ்க்கைப் பாதையை நாம்திரும்பிப் பார்க்கும் பொழுது, அது வாழ்க்கைத் தத்துவத்தை "எதிரொலி"ப்பதாகவே இருக்கும். அவ்வனுபவத்திலிருந்து கற்றுத் தெளியும் பாடங்களை நினைவிலிருத்தினால் நம் எதிர்காலத்தை எப்படி எதிர்கொள்வது என்பதற்கு ஒரு "முன்னோட்டமாகவும்" இருக்கும். இதை ஆழத் தெரிவிக்கும் இக்கவிதை.எனக்குப புரிந்ததை .பலரும் பகர்ததுகொள்ளவதற்காக நான் இதை பதிவு செய்கிறேன்

யாருடனும் உன்னை ஒப்பிடாதே !

ஒவ்வருவரும் அவரவர் நிலையில் தனித்தனியே !

நீயும் உன் மகனும் கூட வேறு வேறுதான்

அவரவர் வினையை போக்கி ஞானம் பெற அவரவர் வருகிறார்கள் !உன்கடமை உனது பாத்திரம்

இப்போது தந்தை !

கொஞ்ச நாளுக்கு முன் நீயே மகன் பாத்திரத்தில் இருந்தாய் !

இருக்கும் வரை கொடுத்த பாத்திரத்தை குறைவர செய்வதே சுதர்மம் !

இதில் மற்றவருடன் உன்னை ஒப்பிடுவது

நாடகத்தில் அடுத்தவர் வசனத்தை நீபேசுவது போல் !,

அது உன் பணிஅல்ல் !

அது உன்னையே நீ அவமதித்து கொள்வது ஆகும் !

சுதர்மத்தில் வரும் தடைகளை எண்ணி அதிகம் கலங்காதே !

எங்காவது சாவி இல்லாது பூட்டு செய்கிறார்களா ?

எந்த பிரச்னையும் தீர்வுடன் தான் வருகிறது !

சில சமயம் சாவியை மறந்து விட்டு தேடுவது போல் ,

பல சமயம் நாம் தீர்வை தேடி அலைகிறோம் !

எப்போதும் தீர்வு ,

பிரச்சனைக்கு அருகில் தான் இருக்கும் !

பிரச்சினையை ஊன்றிப் பார் !

நீ சோகமாக இருந்தால் வாழ்க்கை உன்னைப் பார்த்து சிரிக்கிறது,

கையால் ஆகாதவன் என்று !

நீ சந்தோஷமாக இருந்தால் வாழ்க்கை உன்னைப் பார்த்துமகிழ்கிறது !

நீ மற்றவரை சந்தோஷப் படுத்தினால் வாழ்க்கை உன்னைவாழ்த்துகிறது ! வணங்குகிறது !

ஒவ்வொரு வெற்றி பெற்ற மனிதனின் பின்னணியிலும்

அவன் ஏறிவந்த ஒரு கடினமான சோகக் கதை இருக்கும் !

ஒவ்வொரு துயரக் கதையிலும் நிச்சயம் ஒரு வெற்றிகரமான முடிவிருக்கும் !நீ அந்த சுழற்ச்ச்யில் எங்கு இருக்கிறாயோ !

கஷ்டத்தை ஒப்புகொள் !

வெற்றிக்கு தயார் ஆகு !

மற்றவர் செய்யும் தவறுகளை பேச நமக்கு ரொம்ம ஆசைதான் !

ஆனால் நம்ம தவறுகளை நாம் உணர நமக்கு நேரமில்லை !

அதை தெரிந்து கொள்ளும் கடைசி ஆளாக நாம் தான் இருப்போம் !

அனைவருக்கும் தெரிந்த பிறகுதான் நமக்கு புரியும் நம் தவறுகள் !அப்போது தெரிந்து கொண்டும் பலன் இராது !சுற்றி யாரும் இருக்க மாட்டர்கள் நம்மை தொந்தரவு செய்ய !

தனிமையில் இனிமை !

உஷாராக நாம் காலுறை அணிவது தான் புத்திசாலித்தனம் !

சாலை முழுவதும் முள் இல்லாது கமபளம்விரிக்க முடியுமா ?

ஊரை திருத்தப் போவதை விட நம்மை திருத்திக் கொள்ளவது மிக சுலபம் !

யாரும் காலத்தின் பின்னல் சென்று நடந்த நிகழ்வின் ,மோசமான ஆரம்பத்தை மாற்ற முடியாது !எனவே சென்றதை எண்ணி செயலிழக்க வேண்டாம் !

ஆனால் யாராலும் புதிய ஒரு மாற்றத்தால் ஒப்பில்லாத சந்தோஷ முடிவை அடைய முடியும் !முடிந்து விட்ட பிரச்னையை பற்றி வருந்தி என்ன பயன் ?

ஒரு பிரச்சனை முடியாது என்றால் அதைக் குறித்து புலம்பி என்ன பயன் !நம்மை தேடி வரும் பிரச்னையை மகிழ்வுடன் எதிர்கொண்டு சந்தோஷத்துடன் வழியனுப்பு !

அதில் நீமட்டும் பட்டும் படாமல் இருக்க பயின்று கொள் !

தவறவிட்ட வாய்ப்புகளை எண்ணி கண்ணீரால் கண்களை குளமாக்காதே !

எதிரில் வந்து நிற்கும் நல்ல ஒரு புதிய வாய்ப்பை அந்தக் கண்களின் கண்ணீர் மறைத்து விடக்கூடும் !முகத்தை மட்டும் மாற்றினால் ஏதாவது மாற்றம் வருமா ?

மாற்றத்தை எதிர்க் கொள்ளும் முகம் தான் மறுமலர்ச்சி தரும்

யாரைப் பற்றியும் குறையில்லை ,நாம் மாறினால் போதும் ,

வாழ்வின் இனிமைக்கு பிறரை சார்ந்து இராதீர்கள் !

மற்றவர் அயிபிராயம் உங்களுக்கு உங்கள் மன நிம்மதிக்கு நிச்சயம் தேவை ஆனால் நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்ள வாய்ப்பே இல்லை !

மற்றவர்களுக்கு வேறு பல வேலை உண்டு.உங்களை மக்ழ்விப்பதை தவிர !

எனக்குப புரிந்தது இதுவே !

இது என்னுடைய படைப்பு அல்ல.......நான் படித்ததில் பிடித்தது.

Rainbow Colours Of Life...

Today it was a day when nature had decided to put up a grand spectacle of colors. It had rained heavily for a few hours and now the Sun was out in all its splendor. The sweet smell of wet earth pervaded the countryside. The greenery glistened, the birds chirped and the butterflies glided around flowers in full bloom. And in the sky above was the grand spectacle of a magnificent rainbow. Rainbow comes from Sun Shine and rain seven colors true. It paints the sky with seven colors and dazzling hue. It bridges the Earth and the beyond for a short moment. Arched,  end to end, never changes, same as past and present.

People say that life is colorful as the rainbow. Is the life of everyone is colorful? Only few people are lucky whose life is like a rainbow. Every time in the blue sky, One can’t find bright colors, Because life is blinded by raindrops of cry. Rainbows are rare because it arriving after the mighty storms. What would it be like if you approached those stormy times in your life with more sunshine?

When things look their very worst, Just when the skies are darkest grey, , When you feel battered by life's storms, And you are filled with doubt and dismay; When you feel there is no hope.. , Look for the rainbow first.God Make these rainbow color because everyone on live the life with 7colors happiness, sorrow, enjoy bored, ingenuity , ambition ,angeriness. In day today day life everyone is dealing with these colors different color has different meaning. Rainbow is the symbol of hope and rejuvenation.

A bridge which joins aspirations and dreams to reality. Its seven colors, the different aspects of the mysteries of life. GREEN: The color of life-- It soothes, it heals, it lasts; YELLOW: The color of energy--The color of sun, the color of fire; BLUE: The color of existence---infinite sky, vast ocean; Cool blue generates tempo and motion. RED: The color of love-the color of blood & the color of passion; WHITE: The color of peace------Color of dove; always in background, Present everywhere but rarely found. BLAcK : The mother of all colors-------The earth crust is black; Black is slate, black is rock, and black is coal. LIFE IS A RAINBOW ENJOY ALL ITS COLOUR.

Get your crayons out and draw your rainbow put as many colours on it as you can but choose wisely. We have complete freedom to choose what colors to dab on our own canvas of life if not our life will look like a black and white picture…
